Our job developers network with employers on a daily basis. They are paving the road for our customers to hear about job leads, get an interview or even secure the job. These relationships are critical to our customers’ success as moving out of poverty is the ultimate goal.

To be eligible for summer employment, youth and young adults must complete pre-requisites. First, you must be enrolled in CCMEP. To be enrolled interested individuals must go to one of our locations and apply. If HCJFS says you are eligible, you will be scheduled an intake appointment to complete the enrollment process.

The job development team starts the job readiness process for summer jobs in the fall with bi-weekly training sessions. Customers complete training in personal branding, applications and resume development, interviewing, workplace behavior, conflict resolution, professional development, financial literacy and career exploration.
